Silkscreen Prints
While developing my imagery, I looked at collage for ideas. I would take drawings, cut them up, re-arrange them and glue them down. These studies developed into these prints.
I create these original works using water-based ink on paper. They were made in a small garage studio.
I did not study printmaking when I was at the Rhode Island School of Design. Years later, I attended night classes at printmaking department at Art Center, Pasadena, California. It was in those classes, I studied the techniques and materials used to make silkscreen printmaking.
