I’ve recently gone back to doing studies of the Los Angeles landscape. This one was done at Griffith Park, mid-morning on a brilliant sunny day.

This is a sketchbook page from a series of drawings I did of a plant in our dining room. I went in every morning and did a single black line with a thin Sharpie.
