Michael LaBash is a Los Angeles painter, print maker and sculptor. He is also a veteran animation writer/director.

Born in Stratford, Connecticut, he graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design. He worked as a freelance illustrator before beginning a decades long career in feature and tv animation.

Michael and his family live in Studio City, California. He makes all the work you see in a very small garage studio.

He is married to author/journalist Maria Speidel. They are the very proud parents of Ian and Jane LaBash.
